New Goals: Get Fit With TRX

Welcome To Fitness Connections 4 U.

Looking for a way to whip yourself into shape this year? The TRX Suspension Trainer is the original, best-in-class workout system for doing so! This suspension training system leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of different exercises.

Not many people know this, but you don't need a gym or a set of weights to build muscle. In fact, you can get incredibly ripped using just your own body weight!

Developed by a Navy Seal, TRX is all about training movements, rather than muscle. Known for its best-in-class training, TRX utilizes best practices from all types of disciplines, including the military, professional sports and academic research, to bring you scalable, sustainable fitness equipment that helps you achieve peak performance.

Study Shows TRX Builds Muscle Like Weights.

The TRX and other “instability platforms” like it are found in millions of homes and virtually every gym, for building muscle, strength, and performance, do they work as good as old-fashioned weights? The answer seems to be yes.

In a study in the Journal of Sports Science and Medicine, 36 healthy, untrained guys circuit-trained three days a week for seven weeks, doing traditional exercises (presses, snatches, curls) with weights and cables, or similar moves on a TRX, with a few Bosu ball exercises thrown in as well.

When the study concluded, scientists found no significant difference between the groups in improvements in strength, power, speed, or jumping ability. “Instability training provides an optimal stimulus for dveloping strength levels,” says study author José Luis Maté-Muñoz, Ph.D.

If you work out with the TRX and you think it's only for working out at home or in a gym, think again. Any outdoor structure, tree, light pole, chain-link fence—that’s high enough (seven to nine feet) and can bear your full weight can hook you up with a great workout.

Do you already have a TRX Suspension Trainer? If so, you must watch the TRX DVD    https://vimeo.com/103687352   to truly master all of the different workouts as well as the best techniques. This video is 60 minutes long and will take you through the entire course of how to train. It includes everything that you need to know including set up guidelines, a range of various exercise programs, and an introduction to flexibility.

One of the best perks of the TRX DVD is that it is extremely versatile and can be taken any place for an intense, result-driven workout. There are several reviews about this product that prove how effective it is as well as how much consumers love their results… just have a look around online!

Here are just a few of the reviews we have received for this product: “TRX is one of the most versatile pieces of workout equipment you can own.” “A great system for gaining strength and using your body weight to improve yourself.”

If you’re brand new to TRX or looking for a more challenging routine, stop by our Workout Systems Department to view all TRX products. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.    https://www.youtube.com/user/TRXtraining
